Henry Drayton Work Process - Photoshop

I started by opening up a photo within Photoshop. I used this as a base for my work.

I removed the background using the polygonal lasso tool. I used this to go around my photo, after completing the selection I went into select within the upper bar and used the inverse option. I then pressed the back space key to delete the background. I also erased the jeans within my photo with the erasor tool, as on this project I planned on creating something of a colage and here, they would simply get in the way.

I replaced the trousers, shirt, goggles and shoes with images of steampunk based clothing which I found on Google images. I resized and re-shaped them using the Free transform tool.
