Work Process - Illustrator
We began by having pictures taken of ourselves in dress up, we used these as a means of building up our characters.
I used the pen tool to outline my scarf, after this I used the colour palette to fill the scarf with a light brown tone. I then hid the coloured layer and created a second layer in order to trace and add the creases. For this, I also used the pen tool and filled the creases with a darker brown.
I traced around my face with the pen tool, then added a skin-like tone via trial and error. After hiding this layer, I then added basic facial features with the pen tool.
After adding further facial features, i.e. shading, (also with the pen tool and using a darker variant of my current skin tone) and pupils, (using the eclipse tool.)

I also outlined the hair, using the pen tool and filled it with a dark brown. The goggles were done with a combination of the eclipse tool and the gradient tool in order to gain a 3D effect.
I outlined my jacket, torso and arms separately using the pen tool. Instead of going around my scarf or other conflicting layers, I simply placed the conflicting layers in order of their appearance. i.e. Torso under the jacket, arms under the jacket, torso under the scarf.

I also outlined and shaded the hands using the pen tool, I used the colour codes within the colour palette from the face layer in order to retain the exact same colour. I also placed the hand layers below the arm layers.
I used the pen tool to outline the trousers, I then added details such as the pockets and creases also with the pen tool.

Using boots I found on Google images as reference, I used the pen tool to outline and colour my new footwear.
